The name coming from the previous owner Gepin who had parcels in the Ronchi and Cottà Geographic mantions. These Barbera grapes coming fot the oldest vineyards, to give the Barbera d’Alba Superiore intense complexity and decisive longevity.

Area of Origin: Barbaresco and Neive

Exposure: from East to South-West

Soil: marl, with a plevalence of limestone

Grape Variety: Barbera 100%

Planting Year: 1950 and 1974

Maturation: at least 12 months in German and Austrian oak casks

Average annual production: about 5000 bottles of 0.75L
