The Cortese grape is known for having a very generous but difficult character. Thanks to the meticulous management in the vineyard and in the cellar, has allowed Papà Angelo to produce a long-lasting and particulary complex white wine that is capable of combining fragrant hints and more complex, mineral and spicy notes.
Area of origin: the hills of Barbaresco and San Rocco Seno d’Elvio (Alba)
Exposure: from east to west
Soil: marly, with a majority of limestone and veins of sand
Grape variety: Cortese 100%
Maturation: about 10 months in 225 liter French barriques, where part of the fermentation takes place
Refinement: about 10 months in the bottle
