Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC

The Nebbiolo d’Alba from Albino Rocca family was born in the “Terra di mezzo” a place in-between, where the Nebbiolo grape cannot claim the name Barbaresco nor Barolo. The first vinification took place in 2007 thanks to the grapes on the western side of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio.

Area of Origin: the westernmost hills of San Rocco Seno d’Elvio (Alba)

Soil: marls, with a prevalence of limestone and thin veins of sand

Grape Variety: Nebbiolo 100%

Planting Year: between 1968 and 2012

Maturation: at least 8 months in German and Austrian oak casks

Average annual production: about 9000 bottles of 0.75 L
