Among the Barbaresco parcels that are produced in the “Menzione Geografica, Ronchi”, a careful selection in the cellar identifies the most precious wine only to be produced in the best vintages, when the wine has a wonderful structure and an innate ability to withstand time in bottle. It is only then, when the Barbaresco “Ronchi” becomes a “Riserva”.

Soil: marl, with a prevalence of limestone, with small quantities of clay and sand
Grape Variety: Nebbiolo 100%
Planting year: 1950 and 1980
Maturation: minimum 24 months in a German and Austrian oak casks
Ageing: minimum 24 months in bottle
Average annual production: about 1.700 bottles of 0,75L
